David Beckham just gave himself a throwback trim — but it didn’t go quite as planned.
The football icon, 50, has been left with a glaring bald spot after a DIY haircut at home went wrong. A video posted by his wife Victoria Beckham on Instagram hilariously exposed the damage, showing a clearly visible patch where the clippers had taken off too much hair.
“It does not look good,” Victoria said bluntly in the clip. “I’m going to always be honest with you. It looks terrible.”
David had been trying to recreate his legendary 2000 buzz cut, which he first debuted during a Premier League match against Leicester City — a style he recently confessed is still his favorite.
“I always liked the skinhead,” he told Gary Neville on The Overlap podcast. “Because it was easy and you didn’t have to do anything with it.”
Unfortunately, this nostalgic haircut took a turn when the clipper guard slipped, shaving off a chunk of hair from the top of his head.
Beckham Brothers Feud Boils Over
While the haircut blunder is good-natured and light-hearted, things aren’t quite so smooth behind the scenes in the Beckham household.
According to The Sun, sons Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, have reportedly blocked their older brother Brooklyn, 26, on social media, escalating what insiders describe as a growing family feud.
Brooklyn, who married actress Nicola Peltz, 30, in 2022, is said to be “blindsided” by the move. Sources claim there has been little to no contact between him and the rest of the family in recent months.
“Blocking or unfollowing someone on Instagram is like the Gen Z version of World War Three,” a source told The Sun. “It’s a sad new low.”
The insider added that Brooklyn has apparently cut ties not just with his brothers, but also with David and Victoria, further straining the family dynamic.
Brooklyn “Confused” by Reports
However, friends close to Brooklyn and Nicola insist they never unfollowed or blocked anyone and only learned of the social media drama when it was reported online.
“Brooklyn had no idea until he read about it,” a source close to the couple explained. “It’s possible Romeo and Cruz blocked them, which would make it appear like Brooklyn unfollowed them. He and Nicola are confused like everyone else.”
