Meagan Good is all set to step into a new role — motherhood! The 43-year-old actress has revealed she’s “definitely” ready to have children with her husband, actor Jonathan Majors, and fans are absolutely here for it.
Speaking in a recent interview with Us Weekly, the Harlem and I’ll Never Let You Go star didn’t hold back on how excited she is about this next chapter of her life.
“I definitely am ready to have kids now,” Meagan shared. “My partner is someone I want to really do it with. He’s a phenomenal father already… and now we get to do it together.”
The couple tied the knot back in March 2025 after dating for two years, and Meagan is already envisioning a full house. Well — even fuller than it already is.
“Two kids would be good. We already have four Belgian Malinois — the hyperest dogs of life — but the house is very safe,” she joked.
From TV Mom to Real-Life Readiness
Interestingly, Meagan credits her time on the hit series Harlem as a big part of her journey toward embracing motherhood. Her character, Camille, explored the complexities of choosing whether or not to have children — and that storyline helped Meagan unpack her own feelings.
“There were times where I’d ask myself, ‘Do I want kids because I should? Or am I rebelling because I don’t like being told what to do?’”
That self-reflection, paired with her onscreen experience, made one thing crystal clear: she’s not just ready — she’s thrilled.
“It definitely made me excited to go, ‘Yeah, I think this actually makes me super ready.’”
Married Life? “Super Amazing”
As for life with Jonathan Majors — who already has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship — Meagan couldn’t be happier.
“I’m just really happy,” she beamed. “He’s very silly. He always falls asleep in the middle of movies. I love doing adventures with him… we’re like two little kids who can’t believe we’re allowed to do what we want to do.”
