The 66-year-old actor, best known for his iconic role as Paul Robinson on Neighbours since its very first episode in 1985, is reportedly set to compete in the upcoming season of the BBC’s hit dance competition following the end of his soap career.
A source told The Sun on Sunday:
“Stefan is a huge character on the soap and is sure to be a hit with Strictly fans.
BBC bosses are confident Stefan will bring in the ratings.
He has made no secret of the fact that he would love to star on Strictly and will put his all into the training.”

With Neighbours officially wrapping filming last week, Stefan is finally free to chase his dream of hitting the dance floor. Fans will recall that he’s long expressed admiration for the show and hinted at wanting to join the cast in previous interviews.
