Ncuti Gatwa may have just stepped away from the TARDIS, but the former Doctor Who star insists he’s just as in the dark as the rest of us when it comes to the identity of the next Doctor.
“I Just Don’t Know Who the Next Doctor Is”

However, despite fans speculating over Billie Piper’s shock appearance during his regeneration, Ncuti says he genuinely doesn’t know who his successor will be.
“I’ve finished playing Doctor Who — we all saw the gold sparkle… or did we? I don’t know.
I just don’t know who the next Doctor Who is, but it’s certainly not me.”
