Kelly Osbourne has fiercely slammed online rumors suggesting her father, legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, is dying — calling out AI-generated videos and sensationalized reports as “disgusting” and “false.”
The 40-year-old TV personality and singer took to her Instagram Story to set the record straight after a fake video surfaced online, using AI to mimic Ozzy’s voice and claiming he was near death.
“What Is Wrong With You People?”
In her video, a clearly emotional Kelly said:
“So, there’s this video going around on social media, and it’s supposed to be my dad, but it’s AI.
It has a voice like my dad’s — like David Attenborough or something — and it starts out saying, ‘I don’t need a doctor to tell me that I’m going to die. I know I’m going to die.’
What the f* is wrong with you people?** Why would you spend your time making a video like this?”
She added forcefully:
“He’s not dying. Yes, he has Parkinson’s. Yes, his mobility is completely different than it used to be. But he’s not dying. What is wrong with you?”
Addressing “Suicide Pact” Speculation
Kelly also condemned resurfaced stories about a so-called “suicide pact” between Ozzy and his wife Sharon Osbourne, which originated years ago from one of Sharon’s past interviews.
“Stop making articles or posts about how you think my parents are having a suicide pact.
That was bulls*** my mom said to get attention one time.
And my dad’s not dying. Stop.”
Ozzy’s Health and Final Concert
While Ozzy, 76, has undergone seven surgeries in recent years and has been living with Parkinson’s disease since 2003, he continues to defy the odds. Last weekend, he gave a powerful farewell performance at Villa Park in Birmingham — his hometown — marking the end of his live performance career.
Joined by fellow Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, Ozzy electrified a crowd of over 42,000 fans during the sold-out Back to the Beginning concert. It was their first time performing together since 2005.
“It’s so good to be on this f****** stage. Let the madness begin! You’ve got no idea how I feel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Ozzy told the roaring crowd.
He performed classic hits like I Don’t Know, Blizzard of Ozz, and Suicide Solution, alongside sets from Anthrax, Guns N’ Roses, and Metallica, with video tributes from Dolly Parton and Jack Black.
The Final Note
Though Ozzy has said this was his last-ever live show, he isn’t walking away from music entirely. The Prince of Darkness plans to continue recording in the studio, reaffirming his passion for creating even if he’s done with touring.
Bottom line from Kelly: “He’s not dying.” And she’s making sure the world knows it.
