Jessie J has delivered a wave of hope and relief to her fans, revealing that her cancer has not spreadfollowing a recent mastectomy.
The Price Tag singer, 37, took to Instagram with a touching video of her two-year-old son Sky saying, “Mummy is going to be OK”. The short clip was recorded the night before her surgery, and now—just weeks later—those words ring true.
“And…I AM OK,” Jessie captioned the post, celebrating with joyful emojis and a flood of gratitude.
“Results = I have NO cancer spread. Happy tears are real.”
She added a heartfelt message to her fans, writing:

A Mother’s Strength
In a deeply personal note, Jessie reflected on her son’s comforting words during her darkest moments:
“We called it baby boy. You are my biggest ray of light and with you in my life the darkness will never win.”
While she acknowledged there’s still a healing journey ahead—including one more surgery—Jessie was full of gratitude and even cracked a joke:
“I am changing my name to The LopJess Monster.”

Jessie J first revealed her early breast cancer diagnosis on June 3 via Instagram. In a candid video, she shared that she had gone back and forth about making the news public but ultimately decided to share:
“I want to share it with my fans and the people that care about me. I’ve always shared everything that I go through in my life.”
She emphasized the importance of catching the cancer early, and while she admitted to still processing the diagnosis, she found strength in the support of her followers:
