DDG, the 27-year-old YouTuber and rapper, is making headlines once again—this time for his unconventional plans for parenthood. Amid a turbulent custody battle with ex-girlfriend and actress Halle Bailey, the internet personality casually revealed during a Twitch livestream that he’s considering having his next child through fertility treatment to avoid potential future complications.
“If I’m 29 or something like that, and I ain’t got the time… I’ll just go to that little place, do my little one-two, put my s*** in a cup. Take a little egg from somebody, throw it in another little body. Cook that motherf***** up for nine months, ya know? You can do that type s*** when you got money,” DDG said, raising eyebrows across social media.
The offhand comment comes as his legal war with Bailey heats up. The ex-couple share an 18-month-old son, Halo, and their split has been anything but quiet.
Just last month, DDG failed in his attempt to secure a domestic violence restraining order against Bailey. He alleged that she posed an “emotional and psychological risk” to their son and sought to stop her from taking the child with her to Italy for work. He also requested that she—and her associates—refrain from discussing him, Halo, or their legal battle online. The court ultimately sided with Halle, allowing her to travel with Halo.
In court filings, DDG accused Halle of making suicidal threats and claimed she once threatened to harm herself with his legally owned firearm. He also alleged she engaged in stalking, emotional manipulation, and physical abuse during their nearly three-year, on-again, off-again relationship.
However, in May, it was Halle who was granted temporary sole custody of Halo and issued a restraining order against DDG. She stated in court documents that she feared for her and her son’s safety, saying she had to file for custody in secret to avoid potential retaliation.
Halle’s legal team has painted a picture of a toxic, volatile relationship, countering DDG’s claims with her own accusations of abuse.
While both continue to battle it out in court, DDG’s latest livestream has added fuel to the fire, sparking mixed reactions online. Some viewers accused him of being insensitive and arrogant, while others called the remarks immature given the ongoing legal tension and emotional stakes.
With court hearings still pending and their custody fight far from over, it seems both DDG and Halle Bailey have a long road ahead — one that’s being closely watched by fans and critics alike.
