Former Death Row Records boss Suge Knight has come out swinging — and this time, his words are aimed directly at Sean “Diddy” Combs.
While Knight initially sparked confusion after some interpreted his past interviews as being somewhat neutral — or even soft — on Combs, the music mogul made his true stance crystal clear in a new jailhouse phone interview from San Diego’s Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility.
“He Deserves Prison” — Knight Doesn’t Hold Back
Speaking bluntly, Knight said he believes Diddy should remain behind bars due to his violent abuse of longtime ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
“I never said he should walk away a free man. He does deserve [prison],” Knight said firmly.
“I don’t mean like… ‘Oh, you beat the sh– out of Cassie, so, oh well.’ No, she’s a woman.”
He continued, stressing that no woman should be subjected to the level of abuse Ventura allegedly endured during her decade-long relationship with Diddy.
“You should never disrespect a woman like that,” Knight emphasized. “Anybody who does those horrible things to women deserves their issue — even myself.”
Knight Reacts to Infamous Hotel Video
Knight didn’t shy away from bringing up the shocking 2016 surveillance footage that surfaced earlier this year — the video showing Combs allegedly kicking, dragging, and striking Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel hallway.
“I had never really seen a woman get dragged, beaten and disrespected like that before,” Knight said.
“When he came around that corner, Puff did beat the dog s— out of her. That’s unacceptable. Period.”
“Freak Off” Allegations Disturb Suge
Beyond the physical abuse, Knight also addressed the disturbing sexual coercion claims Cassie made in her lawsuit — including being allegedly forced into drug-fueled sex encounters, referred to as “freak offs,” involving escorts and prostitutes.
Knight described one incident with disgust:
“She don’t let that escort do nothing because he’s on pause. When Puff walks back in the room, action starts back up, right?”
He also criticized the culture of silence and protection that Diddy allegedly benefitted from.
“Then he’s threatening people not to talk, blackmailing, and people still make excuses for him. They don’t judge him as much because he wears shiny suits and dances in the videos.”
No More Excuses
Suge Knight — who’s serving a 28-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter — said the time has come to stop turning a blind eye just because someone is rich, famous, and flashy.
“Accountability should be for everyone. Nobody’s above it.”
