Afrobeats megastar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has finally confirmed the date and location for his white wedding with his longtime partner and wife, Chioma Avril Rowland.
During a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, the “Unavailable” crooner revealed that the much-anticipated ceremony will take place in Miami, Florida, in August 2025.
“I’m doing my white wedding in Miami, in August this year,” Davido shared. “Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because our relationship was in the public eye, and a lot has happened, apart from losing our child.”
Davido and Chioma had their lavish traditional wedding on June 25, 2024, in Lagos. The glamorous ceremony drew Nigeria’s crème de la crème from politics, business, and entertainment. Among the high-profile guests were former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Ooni of Ife Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Oba Saheed Elegushi, Governor Dapo Abiodun, Governor Ademola Adeleke, Udom Emmanuel, Seyi Tinubu, Obi Cubana, and many more.
