Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has shared the heartfelt reason behind keeping his children out of the spotlight. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Declan Rice hitmaker said it’s not about secrecy — it’s about protection.
“I did not hide my kids from the world, I hid the world from my kids,” he wrote, alongside photos of his adorable children.
He explained that while he’s proud to be a dad, public scrutiny and social media negativity are things he’d rather shield his kids from — giving them a chance to grow up in peace.
Interestingly, while fans got a glimpse of the children, the identity of their mother remains private, leaving room for more curiosity.
Reactions poured in quickly. Social commentator Daniel Regha praised the kids but questioned Odumodu’s lyrics:
“Now as a dad, are you proud of the kind of musical content you put out?”
Others were surprised to learn he even had kids at all.
