It’s the end of the road for Ivan Juric at Southampton.
According to BBC Sport sources, the south coast club will part ways with their manager later today after their crushing 3-1 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday officially confirmed their relegation from the Premier League — with a record-breaking eight games still to go.
Juric, who replaced Russell Martin in December on an 18-month deal, has won just 2 of his 16 matches in charge, overseeing a season that has spiraled into disaster for the Saints. Sunday’s loss marked their 25th league defeat of the season, leaving them rock-bottom and mathematically out of the top flight.
While the club is yet to release an official statement, sources say Simon Rusk will take over as interim manager, with Adam Lallana — the former Saints and Liverpool star — stepping in as his assistant.
