Despite the title’s connection to this polarizing arc, it’s unlikely that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will adapt the comic directly. Director Daniel Destin Cretton confirmed that the film will mark a fresh start for Peter Parker after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Doctor Strange’s spell erased the world’s memory of Spider-Man, effectively resetting Peter’s life.
Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker, appeared via a pre-recorded message, teasing that this new chapter is exactly that: a “fresh start,” though he remained tight-lipped about the specifics.
