Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has taken legal action against fellow actress Queeneth Hilbert, demanding a public retraction and apology over alleged defamatory statements made on Instagram.
The Allegations
According to Etiko’s legal representatives, Hilbert accused her of:
• Manipulating people for material gain
• Having an intimate relationship with a man named Tony from Benin
• Misrepresenting a financial gift to mislead her fans
Etiko has denied all claims, calling them baseless, malicious, and damaging to her career and reputation.
Legal Demands
Her lawyers are demanding that Hilbert:
• Retract the allegations within 48 hours
• Issue a public apology on the same platform
• Pay ₦100 million in damages
Failure to comply could lead to a lawsuit for defamation and injurious falsehood.
