Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has denied claims that he was involved in internet fraud, also known as Yahoo Yahoo.

The controversy started after Portable revealed in an interview with content creator Kuye Adegoke, aka Egungun, that he once used the Instagram name Elizabeth Joyce on a Facebook account while practicing online fraud. The statement quickly went viral, sparking massive reactions online.

However, in a newly released video, the Zeh Nation boss has come out to set the record straight, claiming that his words were taken out of context.

“I don’t steal, I am not a thief, and I’ve never done Yahoo. When I said ‘working account,’ I meant an account I used to find money to feed myself legitimately,” Portable explained.

The singer further alleged that the interviewer set him up, adding that he is only focused on hustling legally and making music.

Portable reassured his fans that his journey to fame was purely through hard work and talent, not fraudulent activities.

The controversial singer vowed to stay out of trouble, urging his fans to ignore false narratives about his past.
