Former Migos rapper Offset has officially proposed a plan to divide assets and share custody of his children with Cardi B in a fresh divorce filing.
According to TMZ, Offset recently submitted legal documents requesting joint custody of their three children — Kulture, Wave, and their youngest daughter, whose name is yet to be revealed.
In the filing, the rapper suggested that Cardi B’s residence should serve as the primary home for the kids, while the court determines child support responsibilities for both parents. Offset is also pushing for a 50/50 split of marital assets, with each party covering their own legal fees.
Offset and Cardi B’s relationship has been a rollercoaster since they began dating in 2017 and secretly tied the knot the same year. The couple has separated and reconciled multiple times, welcoming two more children along the way.
However, their most recent split has been messy, with public accusations and heated exchanges. Cardi B filed for divorce last summer, hinting at their separation on Instagram, saying:
“Slowly but surely, everybody gotta go their separate ways… My kids gotta get used to that.”
While Cardi initially defended Offset against rumors of being unsupportive, their relationship took a bitter turn. In January, Cardi accused Offset and his mother of stealing from her during a heated rant on X (formerly Twitter), while Offset fired back by accusing Cardi of cheating in a separate social media spat.
Offset’s latest single ‘Ten’ seems to throw more shade at Cardi, with lyrics suggesting he doesn’t miss her and boasting about his past infidelities. Meanwhile, Cardi has been spotted getting cozy with NFL star Stefon Diggs, while Offset sparked dating rumors with models Melanie Jayda and Anok Yai — who starred in the ‘Ten’ music video.
As the estranged couple navigates their divorce, fans are watching closely to see how the drama unfolds.
