Nollywood star Funke Akindele has once again proven she’s the undisputed queen of the Nigerian box office with her latest blockbuster, “Everybody Loves Jenifa”, grossing a whopping N1.8 billion — making it the highest-grossing movie of all time in West Africa.
FilmOne, the movie’s official distributor, confirmed this in a recent announcement, officially crowning Akindele as the Africa Box Office Queen with a combined gross of N4.5 billion from her top movies.

Since 2020, the 47-year-old actress has consistently shattered records with back-to-back blockbusters, including:
