Content creator Lucky Udu recently visited Bethel Okechukwu at his new shop in Alaba International Market, Lagos, showcasing the progress he has made since receiving $30,000 from Burna Boy earlier this year.
How Bethel Got Burna Boy’s Support
Bethel, a phone repair technician, gained attention when he claimed to be related to Cubana Chiefpriest. During an online dispute, Burna Boy stepped in and gifted him $30,000, fulfilling a promise to support him. Bethel then announced plans to use the funds to open a phone spare parts shop.
A Look at Bethel’s New Business
Months later, Bethel has successfully launched his store, though he admits it’s not fully stocked yet. He continues to operate his repair stand, managed by one of his boys, while working on expanding the business.
In a show of gratitude, Bethel placed a sign at his shop entrance that reads:
“May the God of Burna Boy locate you.”
Lucky Udu, who shared a video of the visit, encouraged fans to support Bethel’s growing business.
