Nigerian singer Naira Marley has finally broken his silence following the first interview of Wunmi, the widow of late singer Mohbad, 18 months after his passing.
During her interview with Chude Jideonwo, Wunmi spoke about the bullying she has endured since Mohbad’s tragic death. When asked what she would say to Naira Marley if she met him, she responded:
“Deep down, he knows what he did to Mohbad.”
Shortly after the interview aired, Naira Marley took to X (formerly Twitter) to share cryptic tweets, seemingly throwing subtle shades. One of his posts read:
“Stupid people will act like they don’t know what they’re doing.”
His post has since sparked intense reactions, with many speculating that it was a response to Wunmi’s statement.
Mohbad’s death in September 2023 remains a highly controversial topic, with ongoing calls for justice from fans and the public.
