The highly anticipated African music awards are set to be a star-studded affair, featuring a powerhouse lineup of artists from across the continent and beyond. From Afrobeats and Amapiano to Bongo Flava and Coupé-Décalé, this year’s event promises to be a celebration of Africa’s rich musical diversity.
Who’s Performing?
Brace yourselves for electrifying performances from Nigeria’s Rema and Yemi Alade, Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, Alikiba, Zuchu, Marioo, and Nandy, as well as Congolese sensations Fally Ipupa, Innoss’B, and Gaz Mawete. Representing South Africa’s vibrant Amapiano scene, Titom & Yuppe will bring the heat, alongside Kenyan star Bien and Senegal’s Wally Seck.
Also taking the stage are Ivory Coast’s Didi B, Josey, Tamsir, KS Bloom, Team Paiya, and HIMRA, plus King Promise, Qing Madi, and producer P Priime from Nigeria. Expanding the show’s global appeal, the lineup includes Joé Dwet Filé (France/Haiti), Nesly (Martinique/French Guiana), Barth (Réunion Island), Kenny Haiti (Haiti), and Joshua Baraka (Uganda).
With Tanzania as the host country, the event will showcase some of its finest homegrown talent while highlighting the continent’s thriving music industry.
Star-Studded House Band & Choreography
British Afrobeat group The Compozers has been announced as the official house band, ensuring a dynamic and immersive musical experience. Adding to the spectacle, award-winning British-Rwandan choreographer Sherrie Silver—famous for her work on Childish Gambino’s “This Is America”—will lead the choreography, bringing an unforgettable visual element to the show.
