Nigerian entertainer Laff Ijuo is setting his sights on a Guinness World Record (GWR) attempt for the longest stand-up comedy performance by an individual.
The current record of 40 hours and 8 minutes, held by American comedian David Scott since April 2013, is about to be challenged as Ijuo plans to go 50 hours non-stop in an event titled “Laughter for a Cause.”

Beyond the record attempt, Ijuo is also on a mission to raise $1 million for his Talent City Naija (TCN) project—a creative hub designed to empower Nigeria’s young talents.
