Popular comedian Deeone has stirred controversy after boldly claiming he is more relevant in the entertainment industry than renowned media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Speaking as a guest on the Honest Podcast, Deeone argued that Ebuka’s name hasn’t been making waves recently and insisted that there is little to discuss about him. He further claimed that even if Ebuka engaged in a controversial act, it wouldn’t generate as much buzz as he could.
“I will say I’m more relevant than Ebuka. When last did you hear of Ebuka’s name? Even if Ebuka wears hot pants to trend, I will still trend more than him because I will do worse,” Deeone stated.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with many questioning his stance and credibility compared to Ebuka, who has been a key figure in Nigeria’s media and entertainment space for years.
