With Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs facing serious sex trafficking and abuse charges, Kanye West has taken to social media, calling on former President Donald Trump to pardon his longtime friend before his upcoming May 5 trial.
Kanye Rallies for Diddy’s Freedom
In a series of posts on X, West passionately defended Diddy, writing:
“FREE PUFF.”
He then directly appealed to Trump, who he supported in the 2016 election, saying:
“@realDonaldTrump PLEASE FREE MY BROTHER PUFF.”
West didn’t hold back, calling out Hollywood elites for staying silent, comparing Diddy’s situation to Chris Brown’s past legal troubles:
“WE ALL WATCHED TAKE CHRIS BROWN AND AIN’T NOBODY DO NOTHING. I WAS P— THEN TOO.”
Diddy’s Legal Battle Intensifies
Diddy, 55, was arrested by the NYPD on September 16 in a New York hotel lobby and has been denied bail three times. He is charged with:
• Racketeering
• Sex trafficking
• Transportation to engage in prostitution
If convicted, the Bad Boy Records mogul could face life in prison.
Trump’s Pardons & Kanye’s Influence
West’s plea comes after Trump pardoned nearly 1,500 January 6 defendants on the first day of his second term. Given their history, it remains to be seen whether Trump will respond to Kanye’s call for action.
Diddy Faces Mounting Allegations
Beyond his criminal case, Combs is also battling dozens of other lawsuits, including one where Jay-Z is named as a co-defendant. Among the 40+ individuals accusing him of rape and abuse, several allege they were minors, including a 10-year-old boy.
With the trial set for May 5, and West doubling down on his support, the world is watching to see how this high-profile case unfolds.
