Liverpool legend and Al-Ettifaq manager Steven Gerrard is about to become a grandfather after his daughter, Lilly-Ella, revealed she is expecting a child with her boyfriend, Lee Byrne. Sharing the news on social media, Lilly-Ella posted a photo of a positive pregnancy test, saying, “Our little secret. The best news… mini us is on the way.”
Gerrard, who is under pressure at Al-Ettifaq following a disappointing season start, expressed his excitement in response, writing, “We can’t wait, great news and congratulations we love you.”
Lilly-Ella has been in a relationship with Lee since October 2022. Lee is the son of notorious gangster Liam Byrne, who was sentenced to five years in prison for firearms-related charges in 2024. However, Lee has never been involved in any criminal activity.
Meanwhile, Steven Gerrard, who has four children, is focused on reviving his managerial career at Al-Ettifaq. The Saudi club sits 11th in the league after 13 games, and Gerrard will hope for an improvement as the season progresses.
