Dancer Idowu Smart, popularly known as Lil Smart, has shared his side of the drama involving social critic Vincent Otse, aka Verydarkman (VDM). The controversy stems from a case Lil Smart filed against artists Naira Marley and Zinoleesky, accusing them of physical assault.
According to Lil Smart, VDM initially showed interest in supporting his fight for justice and even sent him ₦1 million for travel expenses to Abuja. Upon arrival, however, Lil Smart claims things took a dark turn.
In a video, the dancer explained that when he got to Abuja, VDM informed him he wasn’t in the city but directed him to a police contact to handle the case. After submitting evidence of the alleged assault, the policeman helped Lil Smart revise his petition and assured him a lawyer would be provided since it was a criminal matter.
However, Lil Smart alleges that instead of following through with support, VDM began threatening him. He claims the threats left him fearing for his safety and has now called on the public for help.
This revelation adds a dramatic twist to the already complicated case involving Naira Marley and Zinoleesky. Fans are now left debating who is truly in the wrong as the saga continues to unfold.
