The Recording Academy announced that nominations for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards will be revealed Friday, November 7, 2025, through a special livestream broadcast on the official Grammy YouTube channel and live.GRAMMY.com.
First-round voting opened October 3 and closes October 15, with voting members including artists, producers, engineers, songwriters and executives selecting nominees across all categories. The 2026 Grammy announcement follows weeks of speculation about contenders including Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, and Jelly Roll.
The Grammy ceremony will take place Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, airing live on CBS and streaming platforms. Final-round voting runs December 12, 2025 through January 5, 2026, allowing members to select winners from the November 7 nominee slate.
The Recording Academy added two new categories this year: Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover. The 2026 Grammy nominees announcement on November 7 kicks off three months of campaigning before music’s biggest night crowns winners in over 90 categories at the February ceremony.
