Former Super Eagles winger Victor Moses has officially signed with Sky Bet Championship club Luton Town after leaving Russian club Spartak Moscow. The 33-year-old former Chelsea player expressed his excitement about the move after signing his contract.
Moses, who had several offers from European clubs, decided to continue his career in England, telling Luton Town’s official website, “I’m very pleased and honoured to be at this club, and I just can’t wait to get going. I want to come here, enjoy my football, work hard for the club and for the team, and get back to where we belong in the Premier League.”
Luton Town manager Rob Edwards shared his thoughts on Moses’ arrival, saying, “Victor is someone we’ve been talking to for quite a while. He gives us more strength in depth and versatility, as he can play both sides or as a number ten.”
Edwards also noted that Moses won’t start immediately but will add competition and experience to the squad: “He’s fit, able to come in and affect it now, and he definitely makes the squad stronger.”
