Ukrainian track and field athlete Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk has been banned for four years after testing positive for testosterone metabolites in an out-of-competition urine sample collected in December 2024.
The 30-year-old world championships silver medalist in long jump and triple jump has her ban running until May 2029, effectively ending her Olympic career through the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
Despite denying intentional doping and claiming the elevated testosterone was linked to a medical condition, the Athletics Integrity Unit ruled she failed to provide sufficient proof.
