Nigerian music executive Ubi Franklin has found himself at the center of swirling controversies in recent weeks, with accusations of fraud, theft, and unprofessional conduct piling up against him. Despite denying these claims, the public uproar intensified when rumors emerged that Chioma Adeleke, a trusted ally, had allegedly severed ties with him.

Breaking his silence, Ubi Franklin took to Instagram to address the negativity and chaos surrounding his name. In an emotionally charged post, he painted a stark picture of the Nigerian entertainment industry, which he described as plagued by hostility, conspiracies, and toxic energy.

Reflecting on his recent ordeals, Ubi lamented the divisive atmosphere that has taken root in the industry, one where aggressive rhetoric and veiled threats are commonplace. According to him, this environment not only stifles creativity but also discourages investments in young, emerging talents.

“The entertainment landscape has become increasingly toxic and polarized,” he wrote. “With more aggressive rhetoric and even physical threats, this environment takes a significant toll on our industry and our ability to invest in new artists in a healthy and safe way. Many of you keep conspiring against others—it won’t work, and you’ll be put to shame sooner than you think.”

Ubi’s post comes amid public spats with figures like Verydarkman and artists Spyro and Joe El, who have accused him of fraudulent dealings. Adding fuel to the fire, gossip blogger Cutie Juls recently alleged that Chioma Adeleke had distanced herself from Franklin over similar concerns, intensifying the speculation around his name.

While Ubi Franklin continues to face mounting allegations, his latest remarks suggest he’s ready to push back against the negativity and move forward with resilience. Whether this chapter will close peacefully or escalate further remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: the drama surrounding Ubi Franklin isn’t fading anytime soon.
