Tijjani Reijnders scored and assisted on his Manchester City Premier League debut in a 4-0 victory over Wolves on Saturday, equaling a record set by club legend Sergio Aguero.
The 26-year-old Dutch midfielder signed from AC Milan on a five-year deal until 2030 and was named Serie A’s Best Midfielder in 2024/25.
Reijnders became only the second Man City player to score and assist in their Premier League debut.
Pep Guardiola praised the new signing’s “all-action” performance, with many calling him a “top signing for coming years.”
