Taylor Frankie Paul is coming clean. In the Season 5 premiere of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Paul confirmed she got engaged to Doug Mason during her unaired season of The Bachelorette. But after returning to Utah, she slept with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, the father of her 2-year-old son, Ever, while Mortensen was also dating a woman named Emma.
“I don’t like the word cheating,” Paul told her costars, though her friends pushed back. “If it was the opposite, you would consider it cheating,” Mayci Neeley said. “You can’t say it’s not.” Paul also revealed she reconnected with former flame Ben Lambert and told him about the situation before she told her own fiancé, Mason.
Paul ultimately ended her engagement to Mason. Her Bachelorette season was pulled by ABC after a 2023 domestic violence video resurfaced, and Season 5 of Mormon Wives was cut short after cast members refused to film with her amid ongoing legal battles with Mortensen.
