Singer Seyi Vibez has deleted social media posts he made about celebrity chef Hilda Baci after her lawyers demanded their immediate removal and threatened legal action. The legal demand was contained in a letter dated August 15, 2026, from Olaniwun Ajayi LP, acting on behalf of Hilda Baci.
The lawyers cited two posts made by Seyi Vibez on August 14. In one, he alleged that Hilda Baci’s BBL was responsible for artists’ catalogue money. In another, he claimed that eating food prepared by her had nearly harmed him and included an allegation involving spiritual manipulation. The posts were made in the context of an ongoing dispute between Seyi Vibez and his former record label boss, Dapper, who is in a relationship with the celebrity chef.
According to the legal letter, the two posts generated significant engagement, attracting a combined estimated 4.3 million views, 7,100 reposts, 3,000 comments and 45,000 likes. The lawyers said the posts had led to harassment and abusive messages directed at their client, causing what they described as reputational harm and distress.
Hilda’s lawyers demanded that Seyi Vibez permanently delete the posts, issue a public apology and retraction across his social media platforms, and ask his followers to stop any harassment directed at Hilda. They also gave him three days to provide a written undertaking not to repeat or circulate similar allegations, warning that failure to comply would lead to further legal action.
Seyi Vibez has since removed the posts from his social media account.
