“Pawn Stars” star Rick Harrison is recovering in the hospital after undergoing emergency bypass surgery.
The 61-year-old reality TV personality initially went in for what was expected to be a routine stent procedure. However, during that process, doctors discovered a much more serious issue that required immediate bypass surgery.
A spokesperson for the Harrison family confirmed that the surgery was successful. “He is resting comfortably and looking forward to a full recovery,” the spokesperson said in a statement. Harrison is reportedly grateful for the care he has received and for having his wife, Angie Polushkin, and family by his side during this time.
