Offset was reportedly involved in a brawl with the entourage of French rapper Gazo in Paris earlier this week. The altercation took place outside the Hôtel du Collectionneur and reportedly stemmed from a disagreement over Offset’s appearance in a music video. Gazo’s team allegedly demanded a refund of $150,000, claiming the video didn’t meet their standards.
In video footage of the incident, Offset and his crew can be seen exchanging punches with Gazo’s entourage as tensions escalated. Offset is momentarily pinned against a Sprinter van by a security guard before managing to break free. The chaos continued inside the hotel, with security eventually locking doors to separate the groups. The situation escalated to the point where one woman was reportedly knocked to the ground before police arrived to defuse the fight.
Despite the altercation, Offset is set to appear on Gazo’s track “Wemby,” which is named after French NBA star Victor Wembanyama. This incident follows a relatively quiet period for Offset in terms of music releases, making the incident all the more attention-grabbing in the media.
