Brazilian football icon Neymar has reportedly cautioned his fellow countrymen at Real Madrid about the challenges of playing alongside Kylian Mbappe.
Neymar and Mbappe were teammates at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) from 2017 to 2023, sharing the field in 136 games and securing four Ligue 1 titles together. Despite their on-field success, Neymar is said to have described their partnership as “hell” and “catastrophic.”
Since Mbappe’s summer move to Real Madrid, where he has already netted four goals in six games, Neymar—who now plays for Al-Hilal—allegedly sent a stark warning to the Brazilian players at the Madrid club.
According to journalist Cyril Hanouna, Neymar informed his Real Madrid compatriots, including Vinicius Junior, Eder Militao, Rodrygo, and rising star Endrick, about his turbulent experience with Mbappe. Speaking on Europe 1, Hanouna stated, “Neymar sent a message to the Brazilians at Real Madrid, telling them that playing with Mbappe was catastrophic, that it was hell.”
The tension between Neymar and Mbappe has long been rumored, but this recent revelation adds more fuel to the ongoing speculation surrounding their relationship.
