The mother of the late singer Mohbad, Abosede Aloba, has cried out in distress over the alleged abduction of her younger son, Adura, by unidentified armed men suspected to be police officers.
Eyewitness Accounts
According to reports, Adura was taken shortly after leaving the Magistrates’ Court in Ogba, Lagos, on Wednesday. He had appeared in court over a legal dispute involving a phone sale case linked to Damola Ayinde, actor Yomi Fabiyi, and others.
However, what seemed like a routine legal proceeding allegedly took a dark turn when Adura was forcefully taken away.
A Mother’s Heartbreaking Plea
In a viral video, Mohbad’s mother is seen crying uncontrollably, pleading for help as she accuses Yomi Fabiyi and another individual, Sam Jojo, of orchestrating her son’s abduction.
“Please help me, people of God! It’s Yomi Fabiyi. They’ve taken my son, and I don’t know where they’re taking him. My son did nothing to them.”
“They must not lay a hand on my son. They must not beat him—he is sick.”
“The real culprit has already confessed. They’ve been begging me since morning, but I told them the matter is already in court.”
“Demola, you’ve put me in trouble. Mohbad’s spirit will fight you.”
Public Outrage and Calls for Justice
Following the disturbing news, Nigerians have taken to social media to demand immediate intervention from authorities, expressing concern for Adura’s safety and well-being.
As of now, there has been no official statement from the police or the accused parties. However, pressure is mounting for authorities to investigate the incident and ensure Adura’s safe return.
What are your thoughts on this? Should the authorities step in immediately?
