Lionel Messi is back to headline Argentina’s 31-man squad for the final 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Ecuador.
Having already secured their spot in the tournament, coach Lionel Scaloni has also included several new and young players.
This includes Real Madrid’s Franco Mastantuono, Manchester City’s Claudio Echeverri, and Palmeiras striker José Manuel López, who received his first call-up.
The team will play Venezuela on September 4 in Buenos Aires and Ecuador on September 9 in Guayaquil.
