Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, who performs as Mo Chara with Irish rap group Kneecap, was greeted by hundreds of supporters waving flags and banners at his Westminster court appearance on Wednesday morning.
The 27-year-old is accused of displaying a Hezbollah flag at a London gig in November 2024, charged with supporting a proscribed terrorist organisation.
He was released on unconditional bail following the hearing.
The case will continue at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, with the rapper denying the charges and calling his prosecution a “carnival.”
