Nigerian dancer and choreographer Kaffy (Kafayat Shafau) reveals that some men have outright rejected her for marriage simply because she is a single mother of two.
Speaking on The Honest Bunch podcast, the 45-year-old stressed that divorced or single parents who have worked on themselves may be better partners than those entering relationships “fresh,” noting that over 70% of marriages fail a statistic she uses to challenge societal bias.
She questioned the logic of preferring partners without prior marriages, and highlighted how real love should bring peace not anxiety citing that romantic butterflies often reflect trauma responses.
