Jeffrey Epstein’s Alleged Victim Describes “Cult” Environment, Lack of Justice

A new alleged victim of Jeffrey Epstein has come forward, revealing the inner workings of what she describes as a “cult” he built. Julia Molchanova spoke to The Wall Street Journal in a wide-ranging interview, sharing her story for the first time.

Molchanova met Epstein in 2011 when she was 22. She became his “assistant,” a term she says he used to cover his sexual abuse of her. She described the environment as “cult-like,” noting she had to follow very specific decorum requirements, including acting happy and friendly at all times and constantly thanking Epstein. She also alleges he coerced her into sex acts and expected her to connect him with other women.

Epstein promised to help her enroll in classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. However, she says he never followed through and instead used her name to form a company, JSC Interiors. He also allegedly arranged her marriage to another woman, a common tactic to secure faster citizenship and green cards.

Molchanova eventually broke off communication with Epstein in 2019, just months before his death. She is now suing Bank of America, alleging the company ignored sketchy transactions that allowed Epstein to continue his sex trafficking operation.
