The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ actress Daphne Reid has paid tribute to co-star James Avery, who died on New Years Eve.
Avery, who played Philip Banks in the show, died aged 68 following complications from open heart surgery.
Daphne Reid played his on-screen wife Vivian Banks.
She told BBC Radio 5 live’s Up All Night:
“He was such a good friend of mine… larger than life. An avid reader,
avid questioner, avid thinker, he was just a brilliant man.”
