Hollywood icon Denzel Washington has shared a surprising detail about his heritage, revealing he is 10% Nigerian and 90% Irish. The revelation came during an interview with British-Nigerian media personality Ada Enechi.
The Gladiator II star spoke about his roots, saying, “I am 10 per cent Nigerian and 90 per cent Irish,”based on a heritage test he recently took.
In addition to this revelation, the 69-year-old actor hinted at his plans for retirement during a press tour in Australia. Washington stated that upcoming films like Black Panther 3, Othello 2, and King Lear would likely mark the conclusion of his illustrious career.
