Christine Quinn Says ‘Trash Needed to Be Taken Out’ Before Selling Sunset Return

Christine Quinn is back in the Selling Sunset offices and already stirring up drama. The OG villain was spotted leaving The Oppenheim Group after a day of filming for Season 10, and she didn’t hold back when asked why now was the right time to return.

“The trash needed to be taken out,” Quinn said bluntly, before adding that she also needed to get divorced from ex-husband Christian Dumontet. Asked if the timing was finally right, she shrugged and said timing is everything.

The comment comes after several longtime Selling Sunset stars, including Mary Bonnet, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani and Sandra Vergara, exited the show ahead of Season 10. Quinn didn’t name names, but her words are already sparking speculation that she’s throwing shade at her former castmates who are now out of the picture.

Quinn left Selling Sunset after Season 5 in 2022 amid heated feuds with several cast members. She described the split as necessary. “This isn’t a rewind, it’s a reintroduction,” she previously told Netflix’s Tudum. “I’m returning from a very different place, with more perspective, confidence, and clarity” .

Since stepping away, Quinn has gone through a contentious divorce from Dumontet, relocated to Texas, and focused on motherhood. She told Tudum that motherhood “has a way of sharpening your priorities and changing how you move through the world”.

When asked whether fans should expect the villain they remember, Quinn kept things mysterious. Viewers will have to tune in and see, she said, adding: “It depends on the day”.

Newcomer Jordyn Braff, who was spotted alongside Quinn, told TMZ she loves working with her and Heather El Moussa, saying the pair are “always selling houses and serving looks”.

Despite her past feuds, Quinn insists this chapter is different. “I’m not coming back to play an old version of myself,” she said. “I’m coming back to show where I am now and let the audience see that growth can still come with an edge”.

Season 10 of Selling Sunset is already shaping up to be one of the most dramatic yet, and Quinn is making sure everyone knows it.
