Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has opened up about the toll her demanding career has taken on her appearance and energy levels, despite her young age. Born in 2002, the singer expressed feeling “old” compared to others from previous generations.
During an interview in Nairobi, Kenya, Ayra shared her thoughts, saying, “I’ve met people born in the 90s who are so vibrant and full of energy. Meanwhile, I’m feeling old, and I was just born in 2002. I just want to stay home and sleep.”
Reflecting on her creative process, Ayra explained that making music has become a way for her to discover more about her path and artistic vision. “The more I create, the more I understand what I’m trying to achieve,” she added.
