Amanda Batula will not return to the Hamptons with her Summer House costars next season. The 34-year-old reality star, who made her debut in season one and became a regular in season two, is exiting the Bravo hit ahead of season 11.
Multiple sources confirm Batula was not invited back, with network executives believing it wouldn’t “be a fun summer” without her having “organic relationships with the rest of the cast”. The decision appears mutual; Batula “seems to agree it’s not a good fit,” and other cast members are reportedly in agreement.
The exit comes after a season 10 reunion where Batula was grilled about her relationship with costar West Wilson, who also won’t return. The pair confirmed they were dating in March, just two months after Batula and her husband, Kyle Cooke, announced their separation. The romance fractured the cast, particularly her friendship with Ciara Miller, who previously dated Wilson.
Sources say Batula “wants to focus on her mental health” and doesn’t feel those are her genuine friendships anymore. “She and West are at ease that they will not be on the show. They are both OK with moving on,” an insider shared. With production set to begin around Fourth of July weekend, Batula is closing this chapter.
