Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage recently opened up about her experience with bullying in high school, sharing how she has since moved past it with forgiveness. During an interview with Capital Xtra in London, the “Forgiveness” singer revealed that she was bullied while attending Clearmont High School.
Savage took the opportunity to send a heartfelt message to her former bullies, saying, “I just want to say to the girls that used to bully me, I love you. I mean it. Because I’m popular and rich now, so there’s no point.”
With a successful career that has propelled her to fame and fortune, Savage has left her challenging past behind, choosing instead to extend love to those who once mistreated her.
