Nigerian highlife sensation Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, appears to have called out fellow musician Kcee for allegedly imitating his signature musical style.

Taking to his X handle on Monday, the Nabania hitmaker shared a cryptic post, writing, “Copy copy akaria,” a phrase that loosely translates to “Copycat.” Although Flavour didn’t directly name anyone, fans quickly speculated that his message was directed at Kcee. The former Afropop artist recently transitioned into highlife and Igbo cultural music, a genre Flavour has long championed.

This shift in style by Kcee has stirred discussions among fans, as Flavour’s influence on the highlife genre in Nigeria is widely recognized.
