Former Only the Family (OTF) affiliate Kacey “OTF Jam” Hester took the witness stand in federal court, offering explosive testimony regarding his direct involvement in the fatal 2022 shooting of Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson. Hester, who entered a guilty plea, detailed how the targeted hit in Los Angeles was intended for rap rival Quando Rondo in retaliation for the 2020 killing of King Von. As OTF Jam testifies, he explicitly connected high-ranking members of the crew to the coordination and execution of the botched hit.
Hester recounted the events leading up to the August 2022 ambush at a Los Angeles gas station, identifying himself in surveillance photos from the scene. He testified that members of the crew traveled to California specifically to locate and eliminate Quando Rondo. While the primary target survived the assault unharmed, Robinson was fatally struck in the crossfire.
Federal Cooperation: Hester agreed to testify as part of a plea agreement with federal prosecutors.
Witness Identification: The testimony included visual identification of co-defendants and operational roles during the incident.
Retaliatory Motive: Prosecutors contend the hit was funded and organized as direct revenge for King Von’s death.
The courtroom testimony marks a critical turning point in the federal murder-for-hire trial. With multiple cooperating witnesses taking the stand, legal analysts note that the defense faces significant hurdles in countering direct insider accounts of the crew’s inner operations.
