Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, might be making a political statement with her new book, which focuses on a dystopian society led by a sex-crazed head of state.
Scott released the latest entry in her third book, titled “Last Days in Two Nations (A History in Eighteen Minds)” earlier this week. She has been releasing the book piecemeal on Substack over the last two weeks. The fully released book will reportedly be a total of 320 pages and 80,000 words.
According to the New York Post, the book features two perverted leaders: one dubbed “President priss”, who imagines getting “serviced” in the White House, and a South African surgeon who sleeps with more than 20 women a week. The novel is set in a dystopian United States that has already undergone a partial fascist takeover. The story is partly set in a disputed territory called the Dakota Membership during a fictional two-state clash between the “Still United” States and a western stronghold.
Scott was married to the Amazon founder from 1993 to 2019 and received nearly $40 billion in the company’s stock when they divorced. She has given away more than $26 billion to over 2,500 nonprofits since 2019 . This is Scott’s third book; she previously published “The Testing of Luther Albright” in 2005 and “Traps” in 2013 through traditional publishing houses.
