Love After Lockup star LaTisha Collier’s pregnancy has taken a heartbreaking turn. The reality star and her husband Keith tell TMZ they found out they were expecting twins in early June, but later learned one of the babies didn’t survive. The other baby is doing well and is due in February, on Keith’s birthday.
LaTisha revealed her pregnancy on Instagram Tuesday, her 40th birthday, calling it “hell” so far. She’s been dealing with exhaustion, morning sickness, and even an aversion to her beloved fried chicken. The couple is hoping for a boy, as LaTisha already has daughters and says she’d love to have a biological son.
LaTisha was released from prison earlier this month after being sentenced to 15 years behind bars for allegedly scamming clients of her financial firm. She’s currently out while a decision is made about her appeal on charges that include forgery and identity theft (the identity theft charge was ultimately dropped). She says she made sure the judge knew she was pregnant, though she admits pregnancy isn’t a “get out of jail free card.”
Despite the possibility of returning to prison, LaTisha and Keith say they’re leaning on “fight and faith.” She says she’s complying with everything the court requires and won’t do anything to jeopardize her freedom or being home for the birth. For now, she’s focusing on her pregnancy and reviving her “Stiletto Wearing Felon” brand while she’s out.
