Harry Jowsey Shuts Down “Fake Marriage” Claims, Explains Why Wedding Wasn’t Legalized Yet

Harry Jowsey is clapping back at theories that his TV wedding was just for show. The Let’s Marry Harry star shut down speculation that his finale wedding to Amber Mozo was nothing more than a “fake marriage” because it hasn’t been made legal yet.

In an Aug. 16 TikTok, Jowsey explained that production prevented him from submitting the marriage license right away to avoid spoiling the show’s ending. “Obviously, because it’s a TV show, [production] said, ‘We can’t submit this until after the reunion,'” Jowsey said. “If they submitted it on that day, all the money, all the time, everything they invested in the show would’ve been for nothing because it would have been ruined”. He added that fans “wouldn’t have watched the show” if they found the public records ahead of time.

Jowsey, who admitted he “doesn’t know how a wedding works,” teased that he and Mozo still have the option to either legalize the marriage or “tear it up” after the reunion airs. “You will see once the reunion is done and out there if it gets submitted, or it gets torn up,” he said.

Despite the formalities taking extra time, the Too Hot to Handle alum felt a strong connection to Mozo from the start. “I had this very intimate moment with Amber,” Jowsey told E! News. “She asked me to not tell anyone and just keep it between us. I had to respect that and be true to her”. He called keeping his connection to Mozo a secret a “difficult spot to be put in” but said it’s a decision he “wouldn’t change.”
